I'm flying off to Bangkok to Japan in less than 20 hours!

Exclude my sleeping time, bathing time, eating time, watching tv time, chatting time, and etc.
All these can be put aside because it will just make me forget about the time.


Wau Competition later at 8am. At Catholic Junior College. Trust me. I will be fucking shagged. Its not a bad thing. In fact its good as I can catch a nap in Thai Airways from Bangkok to Osaka.

Bubble wrapping is fun with the Percussion. Cutting the scotch tape and fooling around. Woots.



After bubble-wrapping, Minghuat Farhan Gerard and me went out for dinner and do some last minute shopping. (:

Darn. I will miss a lot of people. You know who you are. Even if you don't, just treat as if I will miss you.

1 bloody more day to Osaka.



Okay. Its only 11pm. Lets don't take into account the useless one hour since I'll be using it to blog.


I went out today again.
Yes people, again...


My intention today was to settle all my necessities.
I had to purchase a shoelace for my dirty shoe which was turning charcoal black soon.
Also, I needed to get some attractive boxes to pack the gifts for the Japanese.
I have to buy some food as well to keep my survival going in Japan and most importantly in the hotel room since I'll be spending two hours of my precious life to study.
Can't help it but to get all the sweets and cookies to make sure I'm constantly awake when revising. If not, I'll gradually drift away and just die on my bed.



Met Farhan in the afternoon.
He needed to source for gifts for three Japanese schools that we are visiting. We made a short foray to Tampines Mall. A wasted trip indeed. Practically the things over there don't seem to fit the criteria of a mix of Kawaii nehx! and the elements of Singapore.

Disappointed with TP Mall.

At the very least, I tried the new Golden Onion Rings and Spicy Chicken Mcnuggets at Macdonalds. Not that nice frankly.



Headed to Plaza Singapura after that.
Ahh. Finally, a mall which has everything.

Settled down at a shop which seriously sells crap. And Farhan bought something there which he regretted after awhile.

Partly, it was my fault since it was my idea. I suggested that maybe it was nice to burn some Band songs related to Singapore. Singapura Suite, Singapore Rhapsody and Postcards from Singapore.
And photos can be stored as well! Perhaps the Japanese might like it when they open it up and they see three Trumpeters from Singapore who once had an exchange with them. A memento.

At last, we still bought it. It has a Merlion template on the biscuit. That already represents Singapore somehow or another. So they can eat the biscuits and feel. Ahhhh. The Singapore feeling is heavenly, provided the biscuits taste good.

Japan outfit try out.






After Chemistry lecture, Xiangyun Cheryl and me went out to Bugis. It was a last minute thing but heck. It was still nice. Damn. A person was actually missing. Farhan, the PSK. Tsktsk.

It is way cool. Elijah from the Peter and the Wolf cast inspired me to buy it. Ahh. I shall wear it in Japan. I don't care.

Ebullience!

Guess the meaning of the word.


Teenage Icon audition was held at Cathay Cineleisure. I joined the duet category with Noelle. My bestest singing partner and best friend. It was a long day filled with mercurial temperament. Needless to say, the prologue of the audition was the enriching one.

We came at 11am but decided to wait for Noelle's friends. Ended up going the 2pm slot. Breakfast was a desperate need at that point of time. Headed down to Long John Silver since there wasn't many choices available too.












I seem to have a massive problem with this picture. I look fucking gay + to the maximum.
With much courage, I still want to post it to avoid wastage.






And so, we chose to practise at this secluded corner while waiting for the other two to arrive. Both of us complained that our voices had yet to warm up. Patiently, we waited and practised.
And in between, do some snap shots.

After much hesitation and reluctance, we finally registered. There were a lot of humans back in the hall. Soon, my stomach was infested with butterflies.



Anyway, the auditions started on Friday. So, the day that I came was the last one.
The one I attended was the afternoon session. I guessed the morning session must be a whole lot worst. We went up for the morning session to kay poh abit. The moment the door of the lift opened on the 8th floor(the place where everyone register for TI08), we freaked out.

I came across this ultra amazingly superb misleading email.
Those kind where it seems pointless to even open it up and reading it. But God wills, my curiosity got the better of me. I opened it and started scanning through the content. Trust me. After reading the whole mail, I was infuriated. It was just full of flaws.

WHAT THE FUCK?!

Since when in the name of Islam, we punished ruthlessly?
I do not remember any excerpts from the Quran that crime have to reciprocated with punishments which demeans the religion itself. It does not even state that punishment is necessary.






I apologize that I will not post the next two pictures. It is not appropriate to show the pain that the boy has to commit himself into. It isn't right.

I personally feel that the person who made this email is stupid.
Firstly, he/she does not understand what Islam truly teaches us.
He/she only absorb the multifarious of events that had been happening today.
The various terrorist attacks everywhere which many associate them with Islam.


Yes. The people who carried it out were Muslims.

But.

The fact is:
Their knowledge of Islam is bent. They worship the word "violence" more than what is being taught in the name of Islam.

Islam never teaches us to succumb to VIOLENCE.
Never.


And he/she is out to degrade the religion. I am sure of it. Or simply his/her perspective of this religion is wreck too. Sigh. Plain stupidity.

I've become less tolerant towards people who simply do not blend with me.
Yeah. I don't care.
Nevertheless, I will still be nice to them. I have no choice unless they choose to publicly exhibit their loathe to me. Then obviously I have to reciprocate. They treat me badly. I treat them the same way. Isn't it karma? Deliberate karma. And it is only fair to give back equally.

Sure enough I should never create enemies on purpose.
However, it is inevitable to avoid conflicts especially when the other party do not know one yet. What is being judged is only the surface which is barely recognizable to the naked eye. The inner self is not yet exposed. Hence, the quick perception towards one.

This is interesting. Lets just see how it goes.

On a lighter note, I am starting to feel more belonged with friends. As in, I still gallivant around the school alone but I am not so alienated anymore. Cos I have accepted the fact that things have changed. And theres nothing I can do except adapting to it. It isn't so bad.

Slight digression,
Initially, I never felt like a sore loser in ChungCheng.
Apparently, when I step foot into NYJC, its way different.
I feel like a total slacker that everyone despise.
It sucks.

Ah. It feels good to spend your holidays with friends.
Especially meeting a close friend whom I have not met in a long time.

Initially, I thought it would be a great idea to call up my JC friends. Thinking twice, I do not think they are free to do so. I mean they ARE JC kids. They are suppose to busy mugging or do whatever that are appropriate. But for me, I am a little different. I choose not to be so studious. Not that I did not study at all this holiday, I just want to free myself from this stuffy captive and roam around. And I did.



Since Teenage Icon 2008 is coming, we decided to train our vocals. Sing sing sing! I miss singing.
And all the way we traveled to Chinatown.

After hours of straining the voice and growling of stomach in Party World, the three escaped out of the air-conditioned area. We got out into the roof.
It was a pretty sight with the old-fashioned shop houses lining the whole stretch of walk way. Standing beautifully and still strong despite going through the rough modernisation. It amazed me knowing that some people do care about keeping the old and restoring it. Truly magnificent.
